disposition
n. 1 (often foll. by to) a natural tendency; an inclination; a person's temperament (a happy disposition; a disposition to overeat). 2 a setting in order; arranging. b the relative position of parts; an arrangement. 3 (usu. in pl.) a Mil. the stationing of troops ready for attack or defence. b preparations; plans. 4 a a bestowal by deed or will. b control; the power of disposing. 5 ordinance, dispensation.
